Wholesome Warehouse
As part of our Harvest Lunch celebration in September 2023 the members donated food and toiletries to The Wholesome Warehouse in Storrington. This is a voluntary organisation seeking to help vulnerable families and individuals, including women escaping domestic violence, refugees, and those affected by homelessness.
There are many in our community struggling to cope and it was felt, as a group, that we would like to do something to help.
Safe in Sussex
For the last few years our fund raising and charity work has been directed towards “Safe in Sussex" a women’s refuge providing help and support for people affected by domestic abuse in West Sussex.
We have provided them with Christmas gifts of perfume and other beauty products, colouring books, crayons, pencils and canvasses.
