Minibus outing to Jane Austen's House and Chawton Village.

​

It was her final home and it was where Jane wrote and revised her six beloved novels.  There is also much to discover throughout the Village of Chawton which includes beautiful parkland, Chawton House, which belonged to Jane Austen's brother, St Nicholas Church where the graves of Jane Austen's mother and sister are located, as well as a statue of Jane Austen. There are walks and trails around the Village and surrounding area.

 

​Please note, we need at least 10 people for each trip to make the minibus hire viable.

We would like bookings to be confirmed and the bus fare paid at the WI meeting prior to the trip.
